Meredith Broome is a cartoonist and writer living in Oakland,CA, with her husband and their two cats. Her cartoons take loving aim at the things that take themselves too seriously, such as psychology, trauma, somatics, relationships and her self. Her work reflects the decade she spent performing and teaching as an improviser, as well as the ten years she has studied and worked in the field of somatics. In her spare time, she makes her living as a Master Somatic coach and works with community leaders, survivors of trauma, artists and the queer community. She has not quit her day job because she loves it.
